Resident Project Representative

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work on challenging and diverse tasks in a consulting and construction management role that will require application of technical skills, project delivery, and leadership for construction projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to work with contractor personnel and various stakeholders to assure work conforms to project plans, specs and approved submittals.
  • Attend various meetings as needed related to assigned construction projects.
  • Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in the project manual.
  • Assist with the preparation of written reports and documentation. Construction reports, pictures and logs are written and filed daily.
  • Perform materials inspection and acceptance prior to installation.
  • Assist with the coordination of required project acceptance testing.
  • Point out potential problems to the contractor to keep chief inspector and/or resident engineer informed of project progress.
  • Perform specific installation tasks and field measurements.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must comply with company mandated safety policies.
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of construction.
  • Must be able to read plans and have a good understanding of project specifications.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Safety Certifications a plus but not required:
  1. OSHA-10 Training
  2. Confined Space Entry Certification
  3. NICET – Level 1 (minimum)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, able to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test.
