The work included constructing a new sanitary sewer pumping station at the existing Chalmer Street Lift Station site and an associated 12” PVC force main from the new lift station. The work on this project included: demolition of existing lift station, salvage of select lift station components, relocate existing generator, drainage retention area (DRA) bank reformation and grading, lift station site work, dewatering, construction of a new Chalmer Street lift station including new duplex pumps, pump control panel, wet well, valve vault, and associated piping; equipment pads, gopher tortoise management, maintenance of traffic. The existing generator onsite will be relocated and reused at the new pump station. The project shall also include approximately 3,900 linear feet of new 12-inch force main and grouting, asphalt and concrete restoration, and other work described in the technical specifications and shown on the contract drawings.
