Construction of a new 1.2 million gallon per day (MGD) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) that will include two green sand Filters and two PFAS media contactors to remove high concentrations of manganese and PFAS. The building is to be approximately 6,600 square feet constructed of prefabricated metal and is inclusive of process, metal windows, painting, acoustical tile ceilings, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA. WTP building will include below-slab concrete cast in place water storage tank with backwash supply and finished water pumps and installation of chemical storage and feed systems. Three recently replaced wells will be equipped with submersible pumps with pitless adapters and new 6-inch ductile iron discharge piping to the new WTP. Construction of approximately 700 LF of 1.25 inch and 600 LF 4-inch sewer force main from the new WTP to end of the plant access drive. The force mains will be capped for future connection.
