A tank replacement including construction of a new 800,000-gallon pre-stressed wire wound concrete water storage tank to be located on the existing Department of Public Works property. The project includes, site work, site utility upgrades, installation of an active tank mixer, new instrumentation and radio equipment, electrical upgrades, relocation of existing 8-inch ductile iron water mains, and installation of approximately 750 LF of new 12-inch ductile iron water main. The project also includes demolition of the existing 500,000 gallon pre-stressed concrete storage tank, piping, and appurtenances on the adjacent tank site as a bid alternate.
