The work consisted of improvements to the Killian Water Treatment Plant (WTP), The work included:
• Installation of a new well pump and wellhouse at the existing KI-5 well.
• Construction of a new high service pump station, including concrete foundation, CMU walls, metal roof, pre-engineered wood truss roof supports, pipe gallery, electrical room, crane rail hoist, and roll-up door.
• Installation of three (3) horizontal split case pumps, pump control panel, associated piping and valves, and equipment pads.
• Installation of a central sodium hypochlorite storage and feed system, including an above ground chemical injection assembly prior to the ground storage tank. Also included is a pre-engineered metal fabricated building to cover the sodium hypochlorite tank and associated metering pumps.
• Installation of a new generator and fuel storage system.
• Yard piping, including demolition and abandonment of existing yard piping.
