Sr. Resident Project Representative was responsible for overseeing construction phase of headworks improvements, secondary treatment system improvements (convert MLE to 4-stage Bardenpho process), tertiary ballasted flocculation and standby power. Oversaw the construction of numerous baffle walls and installation of aeration bubble system which was set to manufacturers specifications. Also oversaw the installation of a secondary tertiary scraper mechanism for two trains. The first phase was establishing a vacuum dewatering well filed with over 300 well points We sheet piled the riverside to reroute the groundwater influence and set up 2 large Gorman Rupp skid mount vacuum pumps systems to lower groundwater over 20 ft in an area 300 x300 ft in size. Project also included deep 25 ft sewer installation of 48-inch and 54-inch DI gravity sewer piping and PE designed shoring system for a 44-MGD plant. Assisted in numerous start-ups and testing of various pipelines.
